By downloading the Ref Tools app, users gain access to the latest version of the Low-GWP Tool, which streamlines the process of retrofitting refrigeration systems to utilize more environmentally friendly refrigerants. The Low-GWP Tool is an essential resource that technicians can utilize to ensure that their refrigerant choices are efficient and compliant with sustainability standards.

The application verifies compatibility with the TXV and performs straightforward calculations to indicate capacity differences when using retrofit refrigerants. Users simply input key data, such as TXV type, current refrigerant, operating range, and retrofit refrigerant. The Low-GWP Tool then confirms that the selected refrigerant is not only effective but also environmentally responsible.
